Who We Are

The Family and Community Engagement Corp (Originally, the P.A.L. of Plainfield, NJ and formerly the Police-Community Activity League of Plainfield) is a youth, family and community engagement organization with a vision of collaborative support through positive, healthy, and uplifting activities. Our main goal is to ensure that "FACE Corp" serves as a focal point of service and volunteerism for the sake of children in the Plainfield area and beyond. We especially work to help those with socio-economic difficulty and special needs. We operate a Martial Arts studio in our location at 1733 E. 2nd Street in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Powered by FACE Corp, Goshu-Kwan Family MA Plus provides Martial Arts, fitness, life skills, recreational and other programs in family-oriented, safe environments as well as encouraging and guiding youth in community service projects.
We offer classes for people of all ages that are focused on character development, leadership, advocacy, and life-skills development. We promote the values of respect, discipline and commitment by engaging the community, raising awareness and building support, helping people live their best lives through the benefits of martial arts, fitness, dance, guitar lessons, mentoring, tutoring, computer training, and other activities.
